Dr. Lion Sassoon, D.P.M

EDUCATION AND RESIDENCY

Dr. Lion Sassoon was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. He then received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sassoon completed a rigorous three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Cooper University Hospital. This facility is a Level I trauma center located in Camden, New Jersey, and is affiliated with Cooper Medical School at Rowan University.

 

Dr. Sassoon is trained in all aspects of both conservation and surgical care of the foot and ankle and treats patients of all ages.

LIFE BEYOND THE OFFICE

Outside of work, Dr. Sassoon enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and kids, Avi, Rafi, and Batya. His hobbies include biking, basketball, and reading.
